Andrew Hinkes' practice concerns complex commercial litigation. Drew concentrates his practice in contract litigation, business torts, real estate-related litigation, representation of court- appointed receivers, employment-related litigation and construction litigation. He also advises clients regarding document retention issues, management of electronically stored information production and conducting incoming electronic discovery analysis in state and federal litigation.

Representative Experience

  • Represented RICO defendants in multi-jurisdictional Federal litigation
  • Defended employer against parallel state and federal employment discrimination and contract claims while prosecuting trade secret and corporate raiding claims
  • Defended and prosecuted multiple appeals in both Florida State and Federal Courts
  • Represented Employer in successful action to obtain preliminary injunction against former employee for violation of non-competition agreement
  • Represented State-Court Appointed Receiver in multiple Receiverships arising from violations of Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act
  • Prosecuted and defended construction lien claims on behalf of contractors and material suppliers against residential and commercial construction project owners
  • Represented condominium associations and individual owners in litigation against general contractors and subcontractors for violations of Florida Building Code and construction defect claims
  • Prosecuted and defended commercial foreclosure actions
  • Represented landlords in tenant eviction and breach of lease actions
