Robert D.W. Landon, III is a Partner on the Dispute Resolution Team, based in Berger Singerman’s Miami office. Robbie advocates for clients in the federal and state trial and appellate courts and arbitration, and before government departments and regulators. Regardless of the forum, he advocates for the decision-makers to interpret and apply the contracts, statutes, and regulations that are critical to the client’s business interests in a just manner. Robbie advocates in this way for recognized leaders in healthcare, financial services, real estate, hospitality, professional sports, film distribution, and software development, including both publicly-traded and privately-held companies.
Robbie has chaired and co-chaired numerous court cases and arbitrations through trial and to final judgment and final award, including a federal court trial lasting 90 days with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake.
Robbie is committed to promoting legal access. The Florida Supreme Court has recognized him for his pro bono service through the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Put Something Back program. Robbie served on the Civil Procedure Rules Committee of the Florida Bar. He also served on the Ad Hoc Committee of the Dade County Bar Association that produced the first draft of the Complex Business Litigation Rules of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.
