Josh Brandsdorfer is an associate on Berger Singerman’s Business, Finance & Tax Team. Josh concentrates his practice on commercial real estate law, providing transactional counsel in commercial real estate matters to a variety of private and public real estate investment firms, family offices, joint venture groups, and private investors including PSA negotiation and other acquisition and sale exercises with respect to multi-family operation, office, commercial retail, and pre-development opportunities. In addition, Josh counsels clients on lender-side and borrower-side financing for senior and mezzanine loans, as well as EB-5 and various internal financing structures, joint venture formation and operation, negotiation of commercial lease agreements, and various due diligence oversight, including title, survey, and municipal report review.
Additionally, Josh works on matters related to small and large-scale residential and mixed-use condominiums and planned developments, including drafting and customizing condominium and homeowners association documents.

- Representation of international superyacht marina network in the joint venture purchase and redevelopment of mixed-use project proposal of Island Gardens Deep Harbour marina, which accommodates superyachts over 500 feet, with in-slip fueling and high-power electric, in Miami, Florida.
- Representation of regional real estate investment and management company in the acquisition and financing of bonds securing the fee interest and purchase of membership interests in the entity holding leasehold interest in an apartment complex containing more than 225 residential units for more than $25 million in Columbus, Georgia.
- Provide local counsel representation to global private equity real estate firm with respect to financing and approvals for a 292-unit apartment complex, with plans for expansion project, for more than $35 million in Homestead, Florida.
- Representation of regional real estate investment and management company in the acquisition and financing of 40-tenant commercial office building for $18 million in Richmond, Virginia
- Representation of regional real estate investment and management company in refinances of three (3) related apartment complexes, including more than 700 residential units in the greater Richmond, Virginia area totaling over $40 million.
- Representation of regional real estate investment and management company in the acquisition and financing of two (2) sister apartment complexes containing more than 400 residential units for $50 million in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
- Representation of national medical equipment and supplies manufacturer with respect to restructuring of lease portfolio in conjunction with the execution of the sale of manufacturer’s business.
- Representation of commercial real estate firm in joint venture acquisition and financing of two multi-family apartment complexes consisting of over 300 units in excess of $40 million in the greater Atlanta area.
