Gerardo Ortega

Gerardo Ortega is an associate of Berger Singerman's Business, Finance and Tax team in Fort Lauderdale. Gerardo focuses his practice on commercial real estate, finance and the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets. 

Gerardo negotiates purchase and sale transactions and leasing transactions involving shopping centers, out parcels, office buildings, hotels, retail and recreational spaces for commercial use. In connection to these transactions, Gerardo drafts purchase and sale agreements, easements agreements, leases and other essential documents needed for closing. Additionally, he assists in the counsel of both borrower and lender-side financing for various formation financial structures, joint ventures and operations, and the oversight of due diligence matters, which include title, survey and municipal reports.
