Jonathan B. Sbar is a Partner on the firm’s Dispute Resolution Team and based in its Tampa office. He focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, including shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate litigation, commercial landlord and tenant matters, business torts, non-compete disputes, and probate-related litigation.
With decades of experience representing businesses and individuals as lead trial counsel in complex disputes in both state and federal court and arbitrations, Jon is known for his strategic, results-driven approach to litigation. He advises clients through all stages of contentious matters, from pre-suit evaluation and risk assessment through trial (both jury and non-jury) and appeal, always maintaining a focus on protecting his clients’ business interests and long-term objectives.
Jon has earned an AV® Preeminent™ designation, the highest peer review rating in Martindale-Hubbell’s rating system. He has also been recognized in the Daily Business Review’s Florida Verdicts Hall of Fame, by Florida Super Lawyers, and by Tampa Style Magazine’s Attorneys of the Year.
